Welcome to our new Minamoto Soba website...

We are a traditional 'soba' noodle restaurant in Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture - just a 2minute walk from Iiyama train station.

Minamoto Soba restaurant owner Kuniharu Kobayshi has 36 years' experience in making soba noodles We make our noodles in-house, where we grind buckwheat grains to make noodles with the best possible taste. We also have a fully translated English menu, so our international visitors know what they are ordering.

At Minamoto Soba you can be sure of a friendly welcome and a genuine Japanese soba experience.

Our opening hours are 11.30am-2pm for lunch, and 5pm-9pm for dinner: we are open every day except Mondays.
